Purex Complete With Zout GIVEAWAY! Ends 5/10/11

There is nothing like relaxing under a shade tree while enjoying the breathtaking views during the springtime. Colorful blooms, warmer temperatures, lovely shades of green as the tree's regain life and grass begins to grow.

Unfortunately, Spring is also the beginning of your family tracking in stains and mud on their clothing and shoes! While I cannot give any advice on cleaning your floors, I can share a new product out on the market for your clothing!

Purex recently released a new product on the market and after testing this product on my own laundry, I am confident in endorsing this product and giving my readers a chance at winning a bottle for themselves.

Purex has always been one of my top laundry detergent choices. I recently purchased 6 bottles of Purex laundry detergent on sale! Yes, I've already went through a couple bottles since my purchase :) Purex laundry detergent is affordable and available in several variations to choose from!

Purex Complete with Zout is available at your local store and priced from $3.99 up to $7.99 depending on the size and local retailer. If you search around, you may even be able to find it cheaper or a coupon may be available!

Currently, Purex complete with Zout comes in two variations:
Fresh Morning Burst- Gives your laundry a light fresh scent
Free & Clear- Fragrance free and has a hypoallergenic formula for sensitive skin

I chose to test the Fresh morning burst and the scent was pleasant which didn't surprise me since I'm a Purex consumer. I was pleased with how clean and fresh my clothing turned out. My clothes didn't seem to resemble the filth I started with before the wash. Does anyone know how some towels come out smelling a bit musky after several washes? Mine do and I've tried several products. My towels came out smelling cleaner while using this detergent.

Purex Complete with Zout contains three stain-fighting enzymes. Each enzyme is said to target different types of stains.

Protease:Works against protein based stains such as grass and blood

Amylase: Works against starchy stains such as chocolate and tomato sauce.

Mannanase: Works against guar, which is used as a thickener in many foods, such as ice cream, BBQ sauce, and salad dressing because, it's super sticky. Unfortunately it really sticks to fabrics too, making stains very difficult to remove. That's why the mannanase enzyme is so important in Purex Complete with Zout.

Not a traditional top loading washing machine user anymore? No problem! Purex Complete with Zout is formulated to work in both tradition and High Efficiency washers. How great is that?! An HE machine is on my future wish list and it's nice to know that my brand carries a product that will work in either type of washing machine.

In fact, Purex is so confident in their product that they are offering FREE samples while supplies last!

My son gets rough sometimes when he works out for his martial arts. I had just washed his uniform, because I knew he had a competition that weekend. He went to a last practice a few days before. I went to pack up his things to get ready, and looked at his uniform. The whole sleeve had blood all over. This is a very heavy weaved fabric, that I can't even wash at home, it is too heavy for my machine. The blood had set in. I ended up having to buy him another uniform.

My favorite thing about spring is seeing my flowers, and no more snow. (Which doesn't seem to be happening this year)

My stain story is when I recently painted a bedroom and didn't wear old clothes for it and got paint drips all over my shirt and jeans that won't come out.

My 10 month old daughter loves eating mangoes. We buy the ones in the little tubes that she can suck out. The only problem is that if we squeeze the tube too hard, mangoes go everywhere... It took 4 washings of a white outfit to get most of the mango out... oh well. :)

Favorite aspect about spring is the Azaelia bushes blooming.

I prefer the All Free & Clear, but I'm open to whatever's on sale. Laundry detergent is expensive, even with coupons!

My favorite aspect of spring is being able to pick out vegetable plants for our garden. Always exciting to get that ready.

Carrie K said...

I currently use Arm & Hammer laundry detergent because I like the scents, and it goes on sale frequently enough.

I'd choose the Fresh Morning Burst scent

I have a prosthetic heart valve and I take coumadin. One day, I just started bleeding from a stupid paper cut to my hand and couldn't stop. I didn't want to draw (more) attention so I clotted the blood with my sleeve. I washed it out as best as possible with cold water but it never came all the way out.

OK this is more like a laundry disaster than a stain, but it went like this:
I had a job interview at a local hospital, I knew the staff there and was confident, even though the job was something totally new to me.
I iron my brand new khakis and top to go with and the shoes- awesome. I was rather impressed with myself. Until halfway through the interview I cross my legs and ponder a question when I see one of my pant legs from the knee down is blotchy white-ish- like I had spilled bleach all over it! Oh the horror. How did I not see it before? As I look down, the interviewer looks down to see why I am looking so horrified... It was awful. I didn't get the job, was it because of my tacky Khakis? Maybe.....

My worst stain is from when a pony bit my sweater! It was a mixture of saliva, grass, and who knows what! It took three washes to get out.
