Wordless Wednesday- Clear Lake, OR

We decided to take a spontaneous road trip on Halloween. We had a small picnic and hot chocolate in the beautiful destination of Clear Lake, OR. It was such a lovely day, and I wanted to capture some of the amazing views. The location offered breathtaking views and allowed us to "unplug" from the world. No cell phone or wifi services were available. Make sure your loved ones know where you are going in case of an emergency. Please remember to bring a jacket if you plan to visit this location in the near future! The temperature can drop at any moment.

An experience to remember! We attended the Little Texas event this past weekend and had a wonderful time. I live for discounted entertainment and nights away from home. Our entire trip was FREE! The casino provided concert tickets, hotel room, free slot machine funds, dinner and brunch.

My niece, so happy and full of life. I met her for the first time when she was 7 1/2 months old. Abby is now almost two! I thought that I would share a picture of happiness and innocence.

Have you ever seen an animal of this nature?! I was in awe of this "Zedonk" and spent the most time with her when I had visited a free petting zoo at the fair in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Unfortunately, they wouldn't let visitors near her so this is the best picture that I could capture.

In loving memory of my father-in-law "Big Jerry" 12/15/50-8/30/09

This picture was taken exactly one week before his passing. He spent a relaxing weekend with us at our home and it was the first time he was really happy in a long time. He will be dearly missed.
