My kids and husband woke me up this morning to "come see what we did for you!". They baked me a birthday cake! I have not had a cake for my birthday in over 13 years since my husband and I have been together. Come to think of it, it's been much longer than that because, each birthday my mother would let us choose a place to have dinner and whatever dessert we wanted at home. I always chose a cheesecake, yum! We stopped having birthday parties when we were young, it was more of a personal event.
Anyways, I just wanted to share with you, I had a really nice day today. I wasn't expecting anything for my birthday since we really didn't have the extra funds but, they also gave me a wireless mouse as well. I've been threatening to throw my other mouse across the room, lol.
My daughter even pampered me by massaging my feet with lotion, brushing my hair and massaging my shoulders! I had a "free" and special spa day at home.
To top it off, I won a blog giveaway last night. A GC to Beau coup. (Thank you mom2ways and Happy birthday to YOU!)
This is the best birthday I have had in such a long time. I cannot remember the last time everyone made me so happy on my birthday, it was really special. We just won't go into how I feel about my age but, at least I'm not crying yet, lol.
